My DH and I met at a 4-H club meeting, lol. I was 15 and he was 17. Not sure when I realized I wanted to marry him (I was only a teenager) but I realized about 6 months into our relationship that he was a great guy that one day would make a great husband.

I was an intern where he worked, but not in the same department and he was actually working out of the state for 3 of the 6 months I was there. We officially met at a UM football game tailgate that he invited me and a few other people to as he was walking around the office. We hit it off instantly! About 3 months into it, when I had to go back to school to finish my last semester, I knew he was it!

We met in kids class. He was the only guy in the whole class (he had to take it for basketball he took all his classes and needed another credit). I got in trouble for talking and got moved in the back for talking. He was a senior 18 and I was a sophmore 16. We started dating shortly after that and have been together for 10yrs in Feb. Looking back I cannot believe it has been that long already. I knew after about a yr and a half (we took a small break) that I could spend the rest of my life w/ him, we just had so much fun together. I could never imagine being w/o him or with someone else.

In a bar! I went was visiting my brother in NC and went out with my ex-SIL and her friend. He started to talk to me as I was coming out of the ladies room and I kind of just blew him off. He came and found me again later and that was the start of everything! I didn't think he was "the one" because he was sooooo different than anyone I had ever dated before but than I came to my senses and realized I can't let this one go!

We went out on our first date 3 days later and have been together ever since. He proposed 2.5 years later and we've now been together for 5 years and married for 2!

Over time I developed a crush on him (about 4 months). Then one day he asked where my friend was and I went off on him. I told him if he was only going to talk to me for information about her to not talk to me at all. He asked me out a week later.

We initially met in speech class in college. I tried chatting w/ him at school once when I ran into him, but he was so quiet and shy I didn't get anywhere. Then one night I ran into him at the bar, and we ended up chatting until about 4 am - and then he came over at noon that day to watch the Packer game with me. I told my mom that morning (about 2.5 hours after I had last seen him) that I thought he was "the one" because he didn't try to kiss me.

We met first day of school in 8th grade. we had a secret phone romance/crush summer before high school then ignored each other all through high school except for end of senior year. realized we were going to same college and became instant friends again first weekend of college. we became inseparable sophomore year and became more than friends summer before junior year. i realized he was for keeps when he went to california for christmas without me 3 years into dating and i was sooooo upset. i always knew i loved him but i realized then that i couldn't be without him.

He was my now ex-BIL's best friend (he was the best man in my sister and his wedding) so thats how I met him. But I was like 17 at the time (he is 8 years older than me! Wink

I always thought he was cute, but was way too young for him then! So we didn't actually start dating until about 3 years later when I was out with a friend at a bar and he was out with her brother so we all met up and started talking. I think it was only a few months later I felt he was the one.....but it took about 6 years for us to finally get married.

We lived in the same town in 3 different states, but never met. I even worked summers in his town on Cape Cod. There is a picture of him in my work parking lot and he is standing in front of my car. That was in 1989! We didn't meet until 2003 in North Carolina.

we met eachother while working at kroger. ironically, this is the same place my parents met eachother (but a different location). i definitely had a "love at first sight" moment, but we didn't start dating until almost a year later. been together for ten years this november.
