This may be really dumb, but whatever I'm going to ask anyways. When you're 10 weeks pregnant are you in your 3rd month? My husband is telling me otherwise. I thought that weeks 9-12 were the 3rd month.
I would say you are IN your third month, but you are not three months pregnant. Like at week 1 you are IN your first month, but you are a week pregnant, not a month.
If you are looking at it that way, at week 37 you will be 10 months pregnant... which isn't something that nobody says.
I didn't consider myself 2 months pregnant until 8 weeks.
He may be thinking that because technically you aren't pregnant during weeks 1-2, so he's starting on week 3. If that was the case, the 3rd month wouldn't begin until 11 weeks.
At 10 weeks you're in your 3rd month. According to What to Expect When Expecting, the fourth month begin at week 14. I'm not sure why the 3rd is 5 weeks long but that's what's in the book. You can also go to whattoexpect.com if you don't want to buy the book.
Re: 10 weeks
Yes, that makes sense. Weeks 1-4 (month 1) Weeks 5 - 8 (month 2) Weeks 9-12 (month 3)
Does your husband think you're talking about trimesters? Because I see how he might be confused.

Oh good lord, my grammar!!! I am sorry!
I meant to say: "Which is something that NOBODY says"
-or-
"which isn't something that anybody says"
