My prenatal vitamin was discontinued again!!!

A couple months ago I found out that the prenatal vitamin I was taking was discontinued and I had to go through a big hassle to pick out a new vitamin and get the prescription in to the mail-order pharmacy I use.  Now I just found out that once again my prenatal vitamin (Prenate DHA) has been discontinued... grrrr... this is so annoying!!

What vitamin are you taking and are you happy with it?

    i'm taking the the target brand and i actually love it... i don't get nauseated or anything...

    I loved my prenate DHA. I'm so pissed they aren't making it. now I'm taking some "similar" pill only its not similar IMO. I take the vitamin and then the DHA is in a seperate nasty gel cap.

    I take OB Natal One w/ DHA and love it. No fishy taste and just one capsule!

    I use the one a day prenatals and I love them!  And they are a little cheaper than the prescription ones.

    Are you sure it is truly discontinued?  I just picked up my latest prescription for prenate DHA last week at walgreens and noticed on the prescription sticker that it stated (new formula).  My box design was slightly different but still the same vitamin.

    I'm not sure... I'll ask about it, but that's what my pharmacy told me.

    I take Prenate DHA, too.  I know that a month or two ago they changed the formula and packaging slightly (I was so happy because they made the bubble pack so much easier to open!)  Because of the formula change, they had to change the NDC number that it's identified by, so it may just be that they are still trying to order it by the old number.  I'm going to look into this tomorrow, I work in a pharmacy.  We have had so many prenatals discontinued, and I was hoping this one would not be.

    quick question...and probably silly, but is that the green one?? I had some left over from my 1st pg and wanted to use those up before I filled the new rx...but haven't filled it yet...so I was going to go tomorrow to fill it, but I think this is the prescription I have...

    I'm glad y'all posted this.  I take PreNate DHA also and the mail order pharmacy upped it from $31 every 3 months to $80 every 3 months.  It's such a hassle to figure out which one they cover because they don't have a list to send me.  The package did change and are easier to open.  I can still get them, but they are not covered anymore for some reason.  Ugh.

    I take Select OB plus DHA. I love it because the vitamnin is chewable and the DHA is a gel cap. I was taking Prefera OB but they made me feel sick.

    I take the One a Day w/the supplement.  They are cheaper at Target then my grocery store.  And bonus, it comes with a $1 off coupon for your next purchase.  :)

    When I checked to see if we could order it from our supplier at work, the original formula was discontinued but the newer one was still available, at least for now!
