Okay, so when he gets home, my husband takes off his clothing. This is basically an every day occurence. Sometimes, it's that he's sweaty after a bike ride (see below) but not always.
I've managed to convince him that he needs to do this either in our bedroom or his office, just because keeping up with his laundry is difficult when it's all over the freakin' house, but I've been wondering if it's normal for men to want to be naked all the time.
Ladies, please tell me your husbands do this too.
Re: NBR ?: Your DH's clothing proclivities
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
My DH is very OCD. So, he gets home from work, changes out of his work clothes, hangs then work stuff up or puts it in the dry cleaning basket, and puts on a t-shirt and khaki shorts. I never have to pick up dirty clothes after him....it is wonderful.
If I could now teach him to take those dirty clothes that he has put in the hamper and put it in the washer and start it I would serisouly be in heaven!
tx summer is HOT - so DH strips down to his boxers and maybe a t-shirt in the house - he does keep his clothes in our bdrm though
My DH loves to take off his pants/shorts as soon as he can. This means we have a recliner in the living room that is full of pants! lol He also tends to take off his outter t-shirt and just wear his undershirt around the house. I sometimes think that if he could he would wear his boxers and a t-shirt where ever he went, if he wasn't so selfconcious about his body.
As for the rest of his clothes, they are scattered but in respective piles: boxers are mostly in the bathroom, undershirts in the bedroom, pants and some t-shirts in living room and socks next to his chair in the living room. I swear we are both really bad pile makers...but he has waaay more than me! lol
Ditto this. Socks, shorts, shirts in every room and in the hallways. At least he does his own laundry. I wash things that make it in the hamper or washing machine, but won't pick up his clothes from around the house.
I feel your pain, except my Dh just strips down to his boxers. As soon as he walks in the front door his pants are off, followed by his shirt. Then he balls his socks up and throws them down the steps and bounces them off the laundry room door. Sometimes, he even throws the shirt down there. He has piles of clothes everywhere. I finally put a hamper by the front door and move it if people come over.
He also has pj pants all over the place because he'll take them off in some random spot, forget where they are and get a new pair.
I can't imagine Dh ever taking something off nicely and putting it away. Sometimes, I think I married a child.
