Mural/wall painting rec?

Does anyone know of someone talented (whom they know/trust) that could come in and paint a tree in our baby's nursery?

I purchased a wall decal which we love but I can already tell that the second we turn on a humidifier, this thing will peel right off. So bummed about it but I can already envision the moment in my mind when I walk into LO's room in the middle of the night and see this sad looking tree hanging off the wall. TIA!

    Do you have a picture of what you want? I know a great artist who might be willing to do something like that. (He'll be doing some custom artwork for DD's nursery). I can forward him a pic and see if he's interested.

    I know a friend who is wonderful, she did my baby's nursery... we wanted Planets and Spaceship and stuff and she did a wonderful job and I have seen few of her work and she is just amazing!

    Thank you guys so much! I found someone yesterday who is coming to do the job Friday. I feel like I am running out of time and this was an unexpected addition to the to-do list.

    that's great! don't feel like you are running out of time :) I totally understand you want to have everything ready for the little one but guess what? they don't "get the room" till they are about 5months or so...

    we got our DS room mural up when he was about 4months old and he just looked at it like "what?" and now at 9months he loves the space monkey on the wall and loves  the orbiting planets we have on the ceiling for him...

    just enjoy the few weeks you got to yourself and with your DH... ones the little one gets here everything changes! lot for the better but sometimes you are going to wish you had some time to yourself :)
