My grandmother just passed

I am so sad, just heard the news, it happened this morning but my family hadn't told me, they were waiting for me to finish my work day. Weird thing is, I had a dream where my dad was crying and he told me, I started whimpering, and John woke me up, he said I sounded like I was crying.

Now my dad is flying to Colombia tomorrow, and my due date is Monday. My mom is not going because she wants to me with me.

Why is life so weird, how can she pass away now??? My baby's middle name, Rose is after her.

Oh, Alex, I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Losing a grandparent is not an easy thing. I will send you and your family lots of ::vibes:: as they go through this tough time. I think using Rose as a middle name is a great tribute to your grandmother. I am sure she'll be smiling down on you when you give birth. ((HUGS))

I am sorry honey, but I'll tell you something, so maybe you'll feel a little better.

In my tradition (european Jewish) we do not name babies after live people we know. If you use someone's name, they have to have passed away first.

The tradition says, that when you name a child after a relative that has passed, a little bit of their soul is in the child.
