TTC After a Loss

think my BFP is a chemical :(

had pretty significant cramps all evening with brown spotting that turned into red spotting.  Feel like a big spill will be coming any minute.  Have a blood draw today with another Thurs. and am seeing the dr. then, too, not that there's anything she can do.

1. when can you try again after a chemical?

2.  does your cycle generally proceed as normal after one?

3.  is the progesterone gel stopping my period from releasing in spite of what appears to be a chemical?

4.  Haven't I fukcing paid my dues already?

  • I'm sorry hun.

With a chemical you can usually try again right away and yes, your cycle should be pretty normal.

  • Oh no!  I hope it ends up being nothing.  I had red spotting with DS and it was fine...either way I hope you get some answers.

I think with a chemical pregnancy you can try again right away...without even having to wait a cycle, so that's good news if it is the worst case scenario.

    Hoping for the best!

  • Oh no, I'm so sorry.  I hope it's not a CP but early pg spotting instead.  GL.
  • I just wanted to say that I hope everything turns out to be okay. ((HUGS))

  • I'm praying everything is fine and you don't need answers to any of these questions!
  • I am so sorry sweetie.  I hope it's not a CP!

    1. My doc said I could try again right away

    2. My cycle was normal, but I am taking Clomid so that makes me O.

    3. I still got my period, even though I was on progesterone

    4.  Yes, you have.  And it sucks.  I'm sorry!

  • Well I hope that is not the case! Good luck to you! I think after a chemical your cycle is pretty normal and that you can try again right after.

  • I hope its not a CP and your numbers come back strong!! ((HUGS))
  • I am so sorry! Your first two question are the same as for any other early term miscarriage - just depends on the doc and the person.l As for # 3, the answer is probably yes, but don't stop til you talk to your doctor.  And, yes, you have undoubetedly paid your dues. You are in my prayers.
  • I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you, too, and sending prayers your way.  You've unbelievably paid your dues and you deserve a healthy, sticky baby in the end.  Don't give up hope yet and GL at the doctors.

    Hang in there!

  • Sorry you're going through this.  Hope it is a scare.

  • No!!! I am so sorry. This just sucks. *big hugs*

    1. when can you try again after a chemical? my doctor said right away

    2.  does your cycle generally proceed as normal after one? this should be just like a period....and your cycle should continue normally.

    3.  is the progesterone gel stopping my period from releasing in spite of what appears to be a chemical? if it is chemical and your betas go down, your doctor will likely have you stop the progesterone and the bleeding will increase.

    4.  Haven't I fukcing paid my dues already? DEFINITELY! Again, I am so sorry.

  • OH No! I'm so so sorry :-(

1&2-I'm pretty sure you can try again right away after a chemical. Most women don't even know they have one. (most woman=not us TTCALers)

3-Yes, the progesterone may be delaying AF.

4-You sure have suffered enough. ((Hugs))

  • I haven't had a chemical but I think you can have try again right after since it's just a little heavier than a normal period. Not sure though. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. You've definetely paid your dues.

  • I truly hope that everything will be fine for you, you have already gone trhough enough! I will be thinking and praying for you, and your 2010 miracle!
