Update and Jax issues...

In the three + weeks since Jax turned one, he has been going full blast! He went through his growth spurt week before last and started eating like a total piggy. He would follow my nephew around like a dog b/c he knew he could get more food from him. HA! I thought for sure he'd be hitting the 20 pound mark by now. But no.

I took him to the dr today for mommy fears and he still weighs as much as he did at his 12 mo appt. He is one busy baby I guess.

Well, the reason I took him today is b/c of how much he falls. I've still been really concerned with it and this weekend it was worse than ever. AND I noticed a bump on his head and wanted to have it checked out. It wasn't from falling...more like how his head (on top) had developed.

The dr says he wants to have the bump checked and feels like mommy instinct is very important and is having a CT scan ordered for Jax. We are waiting for the call to find out when. he said he thinks everything will be ok, but wants to make sure. He thinks the bump might be something to do with - well, i don't remember exactly, but if it's what he thinks, then he said not to worry, but we will probably want to monitor it with a neurologist.

Soooooooo. I'm not panicky or anything yet. I'm glad he is doing this and if that's what it takes for me to get peace of mind, then ok. If it is something, we'll just get it taken care of ASAP.

I'll update more when I know more... just wanted to tell someone for a little support from understanding mommies

Oh I hope everything is ok with Jax! ?Remember that docs have to be OVERLY cautious with these kind of things. ?It's good that you took him in though. ?I am sure it's nothing but always better to be safe than sorry!

We went through something similar with Cameron having to see a Neuro in the beginning of the year and it all turned out fine! ?Will be thinking of you guys:)?
