DD colored on the couch.

Her first time ever.  I was doing the dishes last night and she was in the same room with me.  I had just cleaned the couch because it had a juice stain, well not even 5 minutes after cleaning it, DD decided to add some of her art work to the couch.  Man, it was everywhere.  She did that quick and DH and I didn't even notice. I went over to her and and said we don't color and on the couch and put her on time out (also the first time)  She actually sat there and looked at the wall.  I felt so bad. But I had to punish her some way.  Well, as I was cleaning it, she would look at me with the sadest face.  Dh picked her up and explained to her way we don't color and showed her what I was doing because of what she did.  After I cleaned it and went to her and asked her "do we color on the couch?" and she nodded no.  She gave me a hug and I knew she was sorry.  Thank goodness crayons are washable.

    it sucks she colored on the couch but you are such a good mom Amber! you are so patient! i dont think i could have handle that situation well!! and i love washable markers too!!

    Haha, I think you did good considering she is almost 2 and this is her first time!

    I have to second washable crayons/markers/paint.  They are a lifesaver!!!  I'm glad you were able to get it off.
