Of the names we've got so far? For a girl, the middle name is going to be Evelyn no matter what, after DH's late Nonie. We're not for certain with boys names... but we've also only found one we like. Here's the list:
Girls:
Ada (Pronounced A-duh)
Nora
Hannah
Amelia
Stella
Boys:
Christopher James
We definitely want to use Christopher in a boy name either way, as that is DH's middle name. I am definitely looking for other boy name suggestions! ![]()

I LOVE the name Ada, but 90% of my family lives in a town called Ada and they would think it was ridiculous. I say for you, go for it.
I also love Nora(h), but DH wouldn't go for it.?
I like all of them, though Stella is NMS.
I think Nora or Hannah sound the best with the mn Evelyn.
Christopher James is cute
I like Hannah, Amelia and Stella w/the MN Evelyn
I likd Christopher James.
I like pretty much all the first name choices, but I'm actually having a hard time saying any of them with Evelyn in the MN spot. It's with FN ending in the -a/ah sound and the Ev at the beginning of the MN that's throwing the flow off for me.
I know people say you never use MNs, but in our family we use them daily so it would bother me.
I'm not a fan of the boy name, but it sounds nice if it's your style.
Ada, Nora, Amelia, and Stella are all lovely classics. I'm not sure which sounds best with Evelyn though -- probably Ada or Nora. Amelia Evelyn is too 'a' repetitive AND each 3 syllables, while Stella Evelyn has both the same 'eh' and 'a' sounds.
So, my vote goes to Ada Evelyn or Nora Evelyn. Nora Evelyn flows better, I think.
Your girls names are all so fresh and classic, while Christopher is kind of bland. How about moving it to the middle name slot?
Graham Christopher
Evan Christopher (still kind of honoring Evelyn!)
Jude Christopher
Jonah Christopher
Good luck!
LOVE christopher james...classic.
Not a fan of the girls they all sound old to me.

I like all of your girl name choices, but I'm not sure about the flow with Evelyn. Evelyn is a beautiful name as well, but since it has 3 sylables, it might sound better with a one sylable name, but the only two that come to my mind right now are Grace and Jane. How about Evelyn as a first name?
Christopher James sounds great!
Blessings and Good luck!
