Back from vacation. How's everyone? :)

Any BFPs?  Any exciting PT news to report?  ;)

Vacation was good.  DD *loved* being at the cabin at the lake.  She had a great time.  My parents spoiled her rotten, though.  Ugh.  Piles of gifts.  Hilghts?  She now has a car, a real ATV (quad) that goes pretty fast, and her very own hand made gingerbread house.  6' high, complete with electricity, full kitchen, dining room, and porch.   It's insane.  She got a little bratty while there.  Too much 'stuff' and too much sugar.  She's been much nicer now that we're away from all that crap.  Back to her wooden puzzles and organic fruits and veg.   ;)

The birthday parties went great.  The most elaborate was the fiesta on the deck at the lake.  Had a blast.  

Anyway will post some pics soon.  It's good to be home.  Even thoroughly enjoyed being at work  yesterday.  Nice to love my job!

    MOO, I was just over at AP!   Did my intro.  (Yes, we're quite AP-ish over here.)   I was one of the people who helped commandeer the Alaska board to convince the Bump ladies to give us our own board.  So what's the controversy?  People just hate the idea of AP?

    Welcome back!  Glad you all enjoyed your vacation.  We missed you around here.

    We are well on our way to being diaper-free!  DS has been in underwear all day long (other than while sleeping) for two weeks.  Hooray!  He is pretty much telling us every time he needs to go potty....except for pooping.  It's hit or miss with that about 50% of the time.  It's getting better though.  He really HATES it when he has an accident.  It upsets him and he cries, so I think he'll get fully on board quickly!

    I don't think it is a matter of hate...just some folks had never heard of it, some people feel that the principals behind the philosophy are standard parenting ideas, and others feel that AP parents are a little holier-than-thou.

    It made for some good convos, but pretty much everyone on this board has agreed to disagree on that subject.  We like harmony on our board, dammit!! :)

    Ooooooooooh....  MOO....  we do like love and peace here, don't we?  lol.  Might have to dig into the archives and have a look.  Seems we're back to normal, though.  ;)
