Avalon is OK, reminds me of the Mists of Avalon movie.

I love Aaliyah...if we didn't already have a couple Ali's in the family, Alicia (my sister) and Alison (my niece) I would have used it.

I llove A names for some reason too! Avalon sounds very girly to me and a nice alternative to popular Ava.

My DD is Amaya and we are expecting an Alayna (nn-Laynie). We also tossed Ashley/Ashlyn around last time. This time we also discussed Amelia & Aaliyah.

I think Avalon sounds too made up. What's wrong with just Ava?

Anna/Annie is my favorite "A" name.
