What do you pay for daycare?

I would love to know what you are all paying for daycare. I am trying to wrap my head around what to budget.

    I know two people who both pay around 40-45/day. Those are both in home daycare and, from what they say, daycare centers are much more than that. I stay at home and so I dont have to worry about that yet but it is scary.

    I've been looking around the Tigard, Portland, downtown portland area -- the daycares all seem to be running at about $900-$1200/month.

    Good to know it's all Kindercares that are ridiculous and not just the one I contacted. The Kindercare downtownon 5th and Market, is $317 a week for a 12 week old.
