dumb pre-seed question

okay, start throwing the flames now. I"m a pre-seed newbie. It just came in the mail today! How far in advance do you guys do fill your tubes? The instructions say no more than 30 minutes . . .of course b/c I just got it in the mail I had to fill one up (I have no patience with new toys). . .and of course DH is at a golf tourney and won't be home for hours and hours. . . .so that was probably a waste. oh well!
m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    LOL! Yeah, it's probably all gonna glop out way before he gets home. Honestly? During FWP week, DH heads to bed, I head to the bathroom for the pre-seed, then we go at it. Done. :)

    I know, I'm such an idiot. I have it sort of propped up, hoping I can save it. . .oh well! I just know that if prior to FWP I tell him "Oh, wait, I have to go pre-seed" he will laugh me right out of the bed. . .(I wouldn't say it THAT way . . .but you get the picture). Not to mention the fact that we tend to be morning rompers. . .(sorry if TMI). . .so I'll probably never use it!

    i am also a newbie at preseed haha... but i read through the directions and it said no longer than 15 minutes i think... good luck! :)

    Screw the applicator back onto the tube and push it back in. I've done this when I've filled the tube too much

    brilliant. I would never have thought of that. duh.

    We tend to be "morning rompers" too, and I don't think I'll use the applicators at all.  I don't think I'd want to get up beforehand to insert it, so we'll probably just use it without them (I don't know if that's the same benefit or not, but I guess it's better than nothing!)
