Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Weight loss/living healthier check-in :)

     For those of you ladies who said you were also trying to lose some weight before you TTC again, how's it going?  What did you do "active" this past week/weekend? 

- On Saturday I had to go to my parents house for my Mom to help me with some wedding plans, and I walked our dog down there instead of drove.  (About 3.5 miles both ways.) I made him run on and off with me too :)

- On Sunday I went with my younger sister to the gym and lifted weights for about 45 min and then did 45 min of the elliptical.  

- Went out to eat and ordered a chicken salad with light dressing on the side

- Did real well with eating healthy at home also.  I made a pan of turtle cookie bars, and I only had 1 piece, they're my favorite!  lol

I didn't weigh myself, I don't like to do it more than once a week, or I become obsessed with it!  So I'll do it later this week :)

  • Hello!  Sounds like you had a pretty good weekend. :)

    I was kind of bad this weekend because it was my friend's 30th.  But, I still kept up with my exercise routine.

    Saturday: We got up early and went for an hour walk in the blazing hot sun.  I am sure that I sweated a good amount of calories off.  Then later that day was my friend's party, so I kind of splurged and ate some bad (but very yummy) food.  But, I limited how much I ate.  It was also a pool party so I got in a few laps in addition to some pool volleyball.

    Sunday: I did about 15 min. on the bike and ran up and down our stairs about 20 times carrying furniture.  Hey, it might not be structured exercise, but my arms and legs sure got a workout.

  • Fi and I have decided we want to be healthier. We are eating healthier - cut out all sodas and junk food. And we've started walking every night. We usually walk about 2 miles, at least.

  • OK so I have been having a very sad day today. But, you are inspiring me to get off my butt and get moving again. I have had good days and bad days today has been really blue and I just cry a lot. Getting a good sweat will prob help my mood an energy, not to mention the pounds I would like to lose. Thanks for the motivation! I am going to do the 30day shread today.
  • I went for a nice walk on Sunday.  Last night I had a big salad to make up for the crap I ate this weekend - my MIL is a great cook and sweets are her favorite thing to make. 

    Hopefully today will go better for eating and working out. 

  • I just signed up for WW last week and didn't stick to the plan last week.  I am this week though.  :)  I think I lost like .5 pounds.  BOO for me eating like a chunk.  I think I am ovulating though and I always eat a TON when I do.  This week should get easier as I go along.  We will see.  As far as getting off my butt... I didn't.  :(  I need to do the 30 day shred and kick my butt into high gear.  Maybe if I post on here that will guilt me into getting up and moving, right?!?!  :)
