BF mamas period question

When did you get your period? I think I got mine this weekend, and I am in denial as I had hoped it was going to hold off for a bit longer.

    I just got mine this past weekend.  I had cramps and I forgot what those felt like.  Last time I had cramps I had ds 7 hours later. :)

    I got mine like 2 months pp.
    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

    I feel like it's coming, but I'm still waiting.  Why do you have to get it before you start TTC?

    I got mine at exactly 7 months pp.  I just saw my OB last month and he said that a lot of women get it back between 7 and 9 months because babies tend to start nursing less in that time period.

    You don't have to wait but it is almost impossible to chart and/or know when you are going to ovulate without a period.  We are TTC, but it is really just a guessing game now since I am relying solely on signs of ovulation (ie cervical mucus, cervical position, etc)

    Me too! And I wasn't even feeding him one meal of solids everyday at that point b/c he was slow to warm up to it.

    Still nothin'. ?I get really really light cramps every now and again and the CM is increasing, so I think it'll be soon. Only 2 feedings/day right now...

    I haven't gotten mine yet either.  I hope it comes the next month or so because we want to start TTC#2 in the fall.

    I got mine when she was 5 1/2 months.  I was so disappointed.  I thought it wouldn't come back that soon.  I'm hoping that it was a fluke though and won't return for a while!

    Got mine last week, yeah what a fun b day present.  The good thing is I used to have terrible cramps and this time nothing other than some twinges.  I'm glad to get it since we want to try for #2 when DD is a year old.
