Anyone used a doula?

Hello Ladies,

I tried searching this board and didn't find any posts on doulas so I thought I would ask if any of you have used a doula and do you have any recommendations (I am delivering at Hoag).

    I didn't use a doula... I think the support would have been great, but I did have my mom present during the entire delivery, so that really helped having her around... I kind of just wanted to be left alone and didn't really want to be talked to or touched!!  But if you can afford it, why not...
