My mom said this to me regarding DH watching the delivery.
I was telling her how with DS, we didn't plan for him to watch but the nurse asked him to help her hold one of my legs when it was time to push and he basically had no choice.
He doesn't regret it though and is excited to watch again this time. I didn't need my mom to remind me that watching shouldn't be a problem anyway since he put the baby there. My mom and I don't talk about or address these things. I regret the entire conversation. LOL
Re: "He should be able to watch. He put it there."
That's funny. Oh, mothers.
PS - your son is SO cute, and I love the name!
In my bag: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.4, Tamron 28-75 2.8, 430exii
Hehe. DH got roped into helping last time also. I don't think he enjoyed the show.
I would rather he be up by my head, but, oh, well!
Yeah, I asked him very recently if he wanted to stay at my head and he was quick to say no- he wants to watch. I don't really care either way since he watched it last time and when that happened, I was too distracted to even think about it.

DH didn't watch necessarily. He did hold one of my legs while the nurse held the other. I told him not to look. About a week later, he told me he peeked once when the baby came out! Oh well.
PS- I like your purple shirt in your sig pic
This is DH and I's first and he thought he had to catch the baby.. like literally receive the baby as it came out.
So he didn't want anything to do with being in the room. ?Once I told him that he didn't have to be at the southern end of business he was okay. ?LOL?
