4mo wakeful - how long did it last for your LO?

I think we have hit the 4mo wakeful period. I also just stopped swaddling, so I can't be 100% but last night I put DS down @ 7:30, he woke up at 9:30, 12:00, 2:00 and 5:30. When I put him to bed now, sans swaddle he sometimes wakes up when I lay him and his arms move - how do we get past this? If this is the 4month swaddle, how long did it last for your LO? any advise is greatly appreciated.

For us, putting him on his belly helped us through this period. We were no longer swaddling and he was waking up all of the time. He was starting to roll regularly anyway so we just started putting him on his belly and he started sleeping longer!

DS only likes tummy time for about 7 minutes and then he gets bored...and starts to cry, I could try the belly, but I don't know if it would work with him

ps...love your siggy. MH is a huge Steelers fan (and pirates for that matter) so we have so much pittsburgh gear. I can't wait for the official start of Football season

It lasted from about 3.5-6 months when we used Ferber to stop it. i Found that the only thing that would get her back to sleep was to nurse her. It's not an easy period to get through, so just take it one night at a time. Good luck!
