almost 30 weeks and baby is head down....

For almost a week now our LO has been head down in "position" our doctor was shocked that he was like this so soon, but said he will probably change positions, but that he should hopefully stay head down till delivery. Well its been over a week since our appointment and he is still head down. sometimes this is great, except I feel so small! Also not enjoying being kicked in the ribs.

I think he has been trying to drop, or is at least ping ponging back and forth between dropping, it feels like his head is pinching a nerve against my left hip.

This seems so early! any one else have their LO getting ready to be in position this early?

Mine went head down and stayed that way at about 26 weeks. He was in perfect position the whole time until they broke my water then he went sunny side up and that HURT. Good luck on keeping an upside down baby

I thought it was totally normal for babies to be head down fairly early. My baby has been in the exact same position (head down, facing my left) since my 25 week appt. She's comfy, I guess

My little girl is Sunny-side up... but head down! I was born Sunnyside up, so I'm praying she doesn't take after me....

Our LO is head down, and the doctor last Thursday said that she expects the baby to stay that way probably.

Lucky. Im still waiting for mine to flip over. I keep telling myself she is just being sweet and not wanting to kick my ribs till she needs to. I would rather she would just flip already so I can stop worrying though.
