Who is trying for baby #2?

DS is 10 months now and I can't decide when to start for baby #2. DH and I would like kids 2 years apart, but I'm nervous and unsure. I have a friend who has 2 that are 21 months apart and she thinks it's great, but another friend is discouraging me from starting so early.  I just don't know when to start.  DH is ready whenever - men are so not helpful. Am I crazy for wanting to start when DS is about year old?

    Just got my BFP today!  That will make ds 19 months when the 2nd is born.  I wanted them close and if I didn't have a job I probably would have tried for even closer.

    No I have been throwing the same question around. I don't think DH would agree if I asked him about trying for another right not or even in a few months. But I definatly know how you feel!

    We are going to start trying for #2 when DS is 10 months old (assuming AF is back by then).  I can't wait!

    We are.  Well, we are definitely going to be "trying" next month, but we agreed to not prevent this month.  We would have been trying sooner if not for my c-section I think.

    ::raises hand:: I want 2 kids close in age, and to get the newborn and diaper stage over and done with in the shortest time span. :-)

    We haven't been preventing since DD was born, but I didn't get AF back until 9 mo pp. DH is super gung ho and I'm still nervous, so I know how you feel. :) I know I'll be thrilled when I get my BFP, but right now I'm just over analyzing everything.

    Mine are 22 mos apart & I couldn't be happier! Things were hard the first couple of months but overall we haven't had any issues with jealousy, ect. I have the easiest children in the world though Wink We are ttc #3 now so hopefully Brody & the next baby will be about 17-18 mos apart.

    Some days I would love to TTC#2 but I think we will wait with our original plan of 3 years.  Good luck to all that are trying!!

    If it happened, I would be scared, but excited. Not ready to actually try for number 2 yet. Not sure there is a good time because of my job.

    We're on our first cycle of TTC #2.  Originally we were going to wait until DS turned 1 in November, but DH was actually the one who started suggesting we try sooner.  It took me a couple of months to get used to the idea, but I'm really excited now!
