I'm probably going to regret posting this because I dislike WDYT posts regarding names. And I despise trendy and You-neek names...plus, being a Ped, I know what is trendy and popular. But I'm now at 36wks and we still haven't settled on a name. DH and I both like very traditional/formal names and all of these are family names. The middle name is set (per generations).
Autumn Elizabeth
Laurel / Lauren Elizabeth
Victoria Elizabeth
So (cringing in anticipation), what does the anonymous internet think?
Re: 36wks and still no name...
Actually, I like all of them! (Rare for me)
Lauren is probably my favorite.
I don't care for Autumn at all, sorry. If you truly want to know my opinion of it let me know, but I will just leave it at that it's really NMS.
I like Laurel a lot, that's cute! Lauren is okay - classic, but a bit boring to me (I'm a Jennifer of the 80's and Lauren was similar, but there's nothing horrible about it).
Victoria - I don't love it, but it's not awful. I don't like Vicky or anything like that as a nm, but do like Tori.
So this. I had two names picked out for DD and didn't use either of them (neither suited her very well). GL!
At least you have it narrowed down to 3. You should see our never-ending name list, full of names we can't agree on
I love the name Laurel. I actually knew a chick named Laurel once, and she was fabulous!
Autumn is DH's leaning. I'd love to hear why you don't like it (it won't offend me). I dislike Vicky as a NN, but DH and I (and our whole family) grew up without NNs and she would likely be Victoria vs/ Vicky or Tori.

To me, and I don't know why, Autumn has always sounded a little country and not in a good way. Almost a little redneck/trashy.
I like Laurel Elizabeth or Lauren Elizabeth. Very cute names

We can't wait to meet our little boy in November
I love Autumn or Laurel the best! Both were on MY list (not on DH's list) and we almost named this one Autumn.
Our first two girls, we couldn't decide on names until they were born. So don't feel badly if you wait until she is born before you see her face and go, "Oh, she is DEFINITELY a ______."
Gosh, it must be hard to be a ped. and pick a name!!! Same with teachers.
I love Autumn Elizabeth. My SIL is Autumn so I am a little partial to the name. And Elizabeth is my first middle name.
Lauren Elizabeth sounds great as well.

Thanks everyone. I think we'll take the list to the hospital and decide when we see her...great suggestions.
And I have to laugh about the Autumn as hick! DH has a name that, where I was raised (mostly south, very Texan) is a VERY country/redneck name. Trust me, all I have to do is say it and everyone would say, "Oh, yeah...that IS Texan". I have two cousins with that name, etc. Well, he's from SoCal and NO ONE had that name (and his family is all from SoCal and no one will tell him why they picked that name beyond that they just liked it). So he loved his unusual name until moving to Texas (as an adult) where it was seen as "country". Now we're in New England and the name is rare again. Name associations are a funny thing.
