TX...........is freakin' hot.

Which I figured it would be but DANG you guys!  DH and I are thinking we're going to get our windows tinted (to what PA would allow since we still have and will be keeping our PA plates) but I think at this point anything at all would help.  There's also not a whole lot down here in San Angelo.  I mean there's a mall (yay!) and a Target (the size of a quarter) and 2 WalMart so at least it's not completely desolate.

We're in a hotel until Tuesday when we get our house on base and all our stuff comes.  It's a small house but it'll work for the 6 months we'll be here.

I fear that when my Mom and sister leave on Saturday I'll completely lose it b/c I'll really feel all alone.  :(  With DH going to class and not having any family near by at all I think it's going to be a long 6 months of feeling kinda isolated.

But so far TX is nice.  :)

    I didn't think it was too bad today.  In fact, I sat outside for a happy hr after work!  A couple of weeks ago, though, it was hot like the surface of the sun!

    Unfortunately, I agree. Fall will be here in just a couple of months :) And by Fall, I mean it will be in the 70s on Thanksgiving.

    Hey, I will take mid 90s over mid 100s ANY day.  The past week has actually been a nice little break. 

    It'll be hot through October.  Remember how warm it was on Halloween last year???  UGH.

    It's actually pretty nice today. My sister took Colton to the zoo while I was at work and now I'm thinking about mowing the yard at 2 in the afternoon because it's really not bad outside. And I lived in Abilene (went to college there) and I'm sorry you're stuck in the armpit of Texas. San Angelo is awful.

    YES.  and I was soo pissed because DD had the CUTEST kitty costume that was soo hot and she couldn't wear it. 

    I'm so over this heat.  OVER it.  I feel like we live in a furnace.  It's sad that 92 is a cold front.
