Ped w/ DuPage Medical Group in Naperville

Hi!

 I'm just about to start my 7th month and need to start looking for a pediatrician. My GP and OB are both with Dupage Medical Group, so I just thought it would be easier to stay with that group. But, there are so many peds offered that it's making it a little confusing as to how to choose the right one. Do I go in and talk to different doctors and choose from there? I chose my OB from recommendation and am happy with her, so I'm hoping that another good rec can come from this post.

    Just wanted to say I'm looking for the exact same thing... I was thinking of going to the group that's over on Ogden, just because it is kind of close to my house, actual pedis as opposed to family practitioners, and they have one doc that specializes in asthma (which runs in my family).  I haven't set up any interviews or anything, so I'm curious if anyone else has any suggestions.  GL!

    My OB is with DMG too!  I am going to ask him if he has a referral.  There is a DMG peds office next to his in Downers Grove.  I figure if I like him, his referral can't be too far off.

    we go to dupage medical group but at the downers grove office.  my son is now 18months.  i really like both dr patricia murphy and dr urbanowicz(sp??).  i've never had a problem getting my son in if he is sick and like the nurses in the office too.  we have also never had to wait long.

    Thanks for posting! I was looking in DMG too. We were actually considering my DH's MD b/c he does family practice, but part of me wanted a peds.

    My gyno is Dr. Bowles in DMG-I have actually seen them all in that office.  My son is 3 and started out seeing Dr.'s at the DMG at Good Samaratin Hospital and I never was thrilled there.  I changed at started going to the office in Glen Ellyn and I am thrilled to be there.  We have met with 3 of the dr.s there and I am so happy with all of them.  GL and let me know if you have any other quesitons!

    I just moved to the area and then found out I'm pregnant! Do any of you know of a good OB-GYN in Dupage medical group in Wheaton or Glen Ellyn?

    I like Dr. Johnson who is usually at the Glen Ellyn office of DMG.  I've been seeing her for years.  I also liked Dr. Aderli (sp?) and Dr. Freeman' was pretty good as well.  I've seen almost all of them in that group of DMG.  Also, I delivered my boys at CDH and they were great there.  I highly recommend that hospital.  GL!

    Loved the DMG OBs in the Wheaton office.  Dr. Bernardo was great, and I loved Dr. Cannon as well.  Dr. Siegel (who delivered DD) and Dr. Heimburger were also great.
