  It's an Irish boys' name. But I think with correct spelling and nn, it could be a girls' name if you wanted. It's very similar to Cameron, of course, which could be an option?

  Camden is a boys name.  Kamdyn looks like you're trying to take what you know to be a boys' name and make it girly.  I like Camryn better if that's what you're going for.

  We were thinking of naming our baby Camden if we had a girl after the beautiful Camden Maine where we were engaged. I have never heard of Camden NJ so I wouldnt worry about that connection unless you live in NJ.

  Camden NJ is a slum. It was voted the most dangerous place to live 2 years in a row. This year i think it dropped to #3.

  So, that is the only thing i can think of.

  I really, really dislike this name. It sounds like all of the other super trendy names out there right now. Brayden, Cayden, blah!

  Come up with something more original! PLEASE!
