we're in contract!

My husband and I have been house shopping for about three years last night and have made formal offers 3 times. This fourth time we made a second offer on a house we offered on a month ago and they accepted!!!! We're in contract!

It's in Redwood City!

Eep!

I am excited and yet completely freaking out. It scares me that you make a longer commitment to a LOAN than you do to a CHILD (30 vs 18, legally at least... I'm over 30 and my parents still are committed to me ). However, I am flipping STOKED because it means we have somewhere where K can be a toddler and have space to play (our rental? Teeny) and, laughingly, to have K's b-day party (our rental is too teeny for more than 10 people). And, of course, our own house, in a neighborhood with a great school and stuff.
