Pitty Party for 1? Another surgery for Colton

I'm beat down today, for so many reasons. Anyway, took Colton back to the surgeon to check out his button. About a week ago we noticed some tissue growing around his button, granulation tissue. Anyway, not uncommon, but of course his is soooo much worse than what the surgeon said he normally sees and said that Colton would need at least a months worth of silver nitrate treatments and daily steriod creme to get the growth under control (mind you it's been mulitplying daily and he's only had it for maybe a week) and then we could start treating it with more silver nitrate and creme. He suggested by how much and how fast it's growing (It's pushing his button out also creating lots of leakage and some bleeding) that we should just head back to the OR. So next Wednesday we'll be back at Cooks in the OR. Luckily, it's really not that big deal of a surgery but still. I'm having a huge pitty party and feel like we can't ever get a break. Oh it was either next Wednesday for surgery or the next Friday which is his birthday. What a way to spend your first birthday. Oh well, sorry this is so long. And I changed my siggy pix and it's too big, but I don't have enough care in me to fix it at the moment.

So sorry to hear that!! Poor little Colton and mommy. Love the siggy pic. Brandi did an awesome job. I just signed up for her new mini session today and can't wait.

Oh no!! I am so sorry to hear this. I am praying they get him all fixed up and he can enjoy his birthday. You have been so strong through all of this so you know you can handle it, but you guys definately need a break.

amanda- Brandi is awesome! And I love the boys only mini. I left a mesg for Jennifer, hopefully I can get Colton in for that session too. We're picture crazy at our house, lol. Can't wait to see how your pictures turn out with Brandi!

Kim-One of your boys has a button right? Is it a Mic-Key? Did you have this problem with the granulation tissue too? What a PITA all this has turned out to be. The button leaks and stinks and I'm so sick of all the drainage. I'm so over the Mic-Key. I don't know how you do it with twins and having high needs LO too. You're much stronger than I am.
