How many bags are you bringing to the Hospital::::Poll::::

I'm bringing two, was going to bring one and shove it all in there... but i figured a smaller duffle bag (that has wheels) for me and a back pack for dh would keep our stuff more organized and easier for him to carry/roll in, rather then the bag i had that like to swing alot...

I have all his toiletries, cords for cameras/phone charger, clothes and snacks in his (just incase)

and mine and baby's in another, incase he cant stay n im in a double room, we wont have to sort...

  • 2. 1 for me and 1 for DH, if he ever packs it!

  • Just one- toiletries and going home clothes are all we'll need. DH won't be staying at the hospital overnight with me (unless I labor and deliver overnight). He'll go home and put our daughters to bed and come back in the morning when his parents can take over watching the kids.

  • Just one. We live ten minutes from the hospital, and my dad will be at the hospital, so DH says he'll just run back home if he needs to change clothes or something.
  • One for all of us (myself, DH & baby)...I'm really good at condensing/packing light. ;-)

Just wanted to add that I'm packing an empty bag for all of the extras that the hospital/visitors will give us...it'll also be good for keeping dirty clothes separate from clean.

  • Two, on has labor items and one is postpartum. ?They are both VERY small. ?Labor is a backpack and postpartum is a small carry-on duffle. ?No clothing for DH. ?He will go home to check the kitties and shower. ?

We will bring the labor bag in first and once I am in my postpartum room, DH will go get the other bag.

  • We will have one. Both my items and DH items for overnight. We will also have DD going home outfit in there. The hospital supplies you with everything you need for LO. No need to bring everything with you to the hospital (unless you are not going straight home from hospital...in that case you may want a diaper bag).

We had so many gifts and flowers that we had to load up in our truck as well. There was barely any room in our truck for us and our things when we left the hospital with DS.

  • 2. One bag with toiletries, my going home outfit, one change of clothes for DH, and baby's going home outfit. The other bag is my laptop bag that will have laptop, camera, and chargers for everything.

  • Two--  my bag and diaper bag.
  • 1 for me/LO (it's pretty deep, so should carry everything with extra room) and 1 for DH...
  • 1 for me and 1 for LO. DH is technically bringing his work bookbag with a change of clothes, so I guess 3 - but the 1 for LO is her diaper bag - we live 40 minutes from the hospital, so I need that just in case she needs a change on the way home, LOL.
  • I never thought of it in terms of bags: I guess I figured I would simply gather all the recommended items, and however many bags that ends up being is how many I will take.

Maybe two?  One for me with the labor essentials in one compartment and the "later" stuff in another.  And one for DH with swim trunks and snacks and stuff?
