Where do you love your decadent (and probably overpriced) cupcake treats to come from? Do you do bakeries, or do you have a trendy cupcake place
And...If you live in Pittsburgh...is it Dozen or Coco's...
I frankly am torn. I love the flavors and creativity of Dozen. I am in serious lust with the buttercreme from Coco's. It's the best I've ever had. And I even love both of their vegan flavors.

Re: s/o Cupcakes: Fave places
Okay I'm totaly jealous. No one where we live sell individual cupcakes (like the ones you have in cupcake bakeries), which may be a good thing.
Those sites look great! Yummy.
This is the place that my BFF loves by in Houston:

This was horrible timing.
Matt's got a doctor's appointment in Shadyside tomorrow. I actually have to drive by BOTH of these places.
I sense some cupcakey goodness in my future.

Red Velvet w/ Cream Cheese Frosting
that's all I have to say.
Mmm.. I'm headed that way next week. I'll have to scope it out! Thanks for the hot tip!
A local nestie owns this cupcake bakery- https://www.lovelyconfectionsbakery.com
I adore the carrot and lemon cupcakes. And her chocolate frosting is insanely good too.
omgosh! you ladies should definitely try Sprinkles cupcakes... They can be delivered to your home!
Red velvet and lemon coconut are to die for!

They're a bit pricier than the regular cupcake... but they are so worth it!!!

Rainbow babies:I'm pretty sure there isn't a place around here that sells cupcakes. I'd know if there were -- I'd be there way too often. Now I'm adding 'cupcake palace' to my wish-my-town-had list. Also on the list is pizza delivery and a fastfood place other than DQ.
so many to choose from in LA!
i love crave bakery and porto's. i had violet's in pasadena do my wedding cupcakes. we had red velvet, brownie bomb and french toast. yum!

ita about sprinkles. they're good for like half a second and then the sheer greasiness overwhelms. i think they were much better before they branched out and started selling everywhere.
as an aside, do you have a "nothing bundt cakes" near you? i know you're up north and i just discovered one in los gatos. i really like those cakes!!!
i've never heard of them. i will have to look. but i'm not too far from los gatos -- not too far for cupcakes. lol

I'm in Seattle?
Booo. We don't have any cupcake joints around here. I ordered a pouch of Sprinkles cupcake mix but haven't gotten around to making them yet. They only deliver locally, not nationally. Believe me, I've looked into it.
I have been to Magnolia Bakery in NYC. I had heard that their cupcakes were to die for, but I wasn't impressed.
I don't have a fave where I live, but every time I go home (Philly area), my dad gets cupcakes from Brown Betty (he is addicted).

Just the thought of the Red Velvet is making my mouth water!
We have a great little cupcake boutique in Katy. What makes it the best is that it has a drive thru window. It's impossibly easy to pick up cupcakes while you're out with a fussy or tired toddler
Ooh La La Sweets
my favorite place in Chicago is Molly's Cupcakes. the cupcakes are delicious and the atmosphere is so adorable. they have these little round tables that look like multicolored dots, and a marble bar you can sit at that has swings instead of chairs. they also have a bunch of board games that you can play while you eat. that place is a weakness of mine.

I am SO going to check this place out ASAP.
There are a couple of cupcakeplaces here in nyc that are great
