Me and thats why all my clothes still have the tags on them... ::sigh:: I just feel like ive been given to much in this life to actually get the little girl ive always wanted...
My fiance thinks I'm insane but I've just recently started doubting the ultrasound. He doesn't want to hear any of it but it was so long ago and so quickly that they saw boy parts and I keep dreaming it's a little girl so now I'm really starting to worry I'll be one of the ones the u/s was wrong for. You aren't alone.
We're on our third girl... and with each I had nightmares I'd have all these washed, pink clothes and ended up with a BOY! It happened to my brother (thought he was having a girl, out came a boy- this was 13 years ago, mind you).
Definitely. While the tech was quite confident she is a girl, and I've washed all the girly clothes, I haven't given away the bags of boy hand me downs we'd recieved just in case. And aside from our bouncer all our stuff is gender neutral, also to be used for further children. We'll find out soon enough!

Yes. There are days where I get the CD of all my ultrasound pictures and video's they gave me to check and make sure because it is VERY obvious he is a boy lol But still sometimes I worry and have to recheck again.
hah I just had a "talk" with the baby the other night on my way home from work about this. I told him he better not surprise us because either way he's being raised as a boy.
I had those doubts right up until the moment I saw for myself in person. I kept the tags on everything until I brought DD home, knowing that with my luck if I washed them and put them away she'd have come out with an extra appendage.
I would be if I hadn't had 4 ultrasounds to confirm that lo is definitely a boy. I know how you feel though.
This sort of. At 17 weeks, the elective u/s place said boy, then at 20, the OB said girl but legs were closed, so then we went back to the elective u/s place and there was an undeniable penis. I really can't imagine that we will have a girl. FIL is like 100% sure it's a girl though.
I've had four ultrasounds since the big reveal and asked them to confirm at two of them. Last appointment u/s tech (not my usual) asked us if we knew (we asked her to confirm) and as she checked said that she would not tell us the truth if we were wrong! She said something like, "Oh, he wouldn't mind a pink bedroom!" I was not too thrilled with that response and I think she was kind of serious, too! So with all the ultrasounds, we are pretty sure, but I was a little nervous after the first one.

ME! I just said this to DH today! I won't have another ultrasound until 36 weeks and the tech at our 20 week u/s said girl, but not with the utmost confidence, and she didn't show us the "parts". When I mentioned it to DH it kind of hit him that we're still not 100% certain...and now we've come to know baby as our little Zoe, so I think the realization that baby could be a boy was a little hard for both of us. I'm sure this sounds awful, it's just that we've been referring to her by name and talking and singing to her as Zoe for 2 months now.
I worry about this. She has the pinkest bedroom, bedding and girly clothes. I am not sure what I'd do if she turns out to be a boy. DH doesn't seem worried- he was convinced it was a girl from the start, and said "any boy of his would be much more manly down there"- ha! I'm sure the u/s (3 of them) were right, but there is always the "what if" in my head. Esp since we have never even discussed boy names!
We didn't get a good shot at our first u/s, so I was really leery. We had to go back in a month later and got a GREAT shot so I am 100% sure it's a boy .... a girl on the other hand I'm not sure I'd even be 100% sure.
I was but we got another US this week...and we asked her to check and there was the penis!! It was so great to see again since it's been about 17 weeks!!
I was, so I "nonchalantly" asked my OB at my 36 weeks visit whether I would have any more u/s, and he scheduled one for me for 38 weeks (yesterday), and there was a VERY DISTINCT penis and scrotum...we were very relieved.
DH was actually more nervous for this u/s than he was for the first!

Definitely. Especially because everyone who has asked ''ooh, do you know what you're having'' has responded with ''well, hope your tech was right. I know so-and-so whose tech was wrong''. Nice. Next person who says that to me gets throat punched.
I wasn't worried about it with DS..because there was a pretty distict picture from the ultra sound that was pretty undenialble....but I'm told its a girl this time...and frankly i don't see a thing...so I'm a bit concerned....but I think at this point technology is so good that you hardly ever hear anymore that the baby came any different then what the tech said.
Re: Anyone else worried that the US was wrong?
I am! lol i posted bout this last week sometime after washing all LO's clothes and organizing after my shower.
I mean everything but one blanket and onesie (yellow) are blue and scream boy boy boy!
idk what we would do... i honestly dont lol!

We've had 2 ultrasounds that scream BOY, last one at 22 weeks. So I'm pretty darn sure he's still a boy
If he comes out missing a penis, then I hope she likes blue!
