I saw my OB yesterday and an internal med doctor this morning per my OB's request for migraines. I went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions they called in for me and I left with FIVE different medications!
They prescribed beta blockers taken daily to prevent migraines, a nauesa medication, a heartburn medication, and two pain medications for when I do get the migraines.
I seriously felt like a druggie with all of the pill bottles I walked away with. These darn migraines! Ugh!
Re: I felt like a druggie walking out of the pharmacy today!
I'm sorry, migraines run in my family, luckily I only had them as a teenager, they seem to have gone away since then.
I know how you feel though, I used to run to the pharmacy to pick up scripts for my family (8 people total) and I would walk out with 5 diffrent meds... yes my family is crazy.
