Baby Max is here!!!

Hello Girls,

Sorry that I didn't post this sooner.

Max was born on August 4th. I had to be induced at 41 weeks. I was 3 cm dialated going in. They put me on Pitocin and few hours later Max was born. I ended up taking Epidural which did not work on the left side of my body. With my daughter, it worked so good that I didn't really feel anything but this time around it was painful, but hey it's a childbirth I guess it should be somewhat painful:-( It's weird how you just forget the pain when you hold your baby in your arms. Max is absolutely perfect! I am so in love with him and could just hold him and kiss him constantly - which I do:-)

I was so happy with my doctor. He was very loving and supporting. I think that I read in some previous posts that some girls from here are going to Somerset OB group, so this is for you girls to know that they are absolutely great. Dr. Garcia delivered my baby. They use Beaumont RO and it was a little bit annoying that they have so many residents there e.g. I tore just a little bit on three different spots during delivery and I had some resident doing stitches which took forever. I delivered my DD at Beaumont Troy and I liked them much better.

Now about my baby boy:-)

He was 8lbs and 21 in long. He is a very sleepy baby. I have to wake him up for feeding(EBF) and it takes me about 10 min to wake him up and then not even 5 min into feeding, he falls asleep again. He has plenty of poopy diapers so I am hoping that he gets enough food but it takes forever to feed him. Since he's only week old, it might be too early to tell that he will stay this way but so far having two kids under two hasn't been that bad. I think I prepared myself  for the worse and now that we're here, It is not that hard. It does help that Max sleeps at night. My DH took three weeks off to help so it is so nice to have him around too. Sasha is not jealous but she is probably too young to know what is going on. She comes by to give him a kiss and then runs off to play with her toys. I have 6 weeks of maternity leave and after that I will be working from home for 3 months. So lucky to work for a smaller company that is flexible and understanding of my needs. Here are few pictures of my family. I have never been happier in my life and I can't wait to see you lil' ones. Once I get back into the groove I hope to see you girls again at GTG. I've seen that the last turnout was great. I can't wait to meet more girls. Also, I've read some posts about forming mom groups and I would love to do something like that too.
