Lansinoh pump problems

After 2 months of use it seems to be losing its suction. It takes me over a hour to pump both breasts and even then they don't seem empty. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Lansinoh pump problems

  • I would call the company and ask.  You may need to replace the valves, but if it really is a problem with the pump I've heard they have great customer service and will send you a new one.

  • Have you replaced the valves? If not, try that. Otherwise call them. They are great and will most likely just replace the entire pump.

  • I've had issues... These are what I usually try:

Make sure that the valves are on tight.

Make sure that the diaphragm and cap are on perfectly.

Make sure that the hose is straight and not leaking or wearing out.

If these don't work, replace the valves. I've also replaced the hose and seen improvement.

If that doesn't work, call Lansinoh.
