I guess Amelia has started the phase where they get scared of "strange" things. She used to never be scared of ANYTHING.
I was putting up her clean laundry and had her in her room with me. I turned on the radio on her clock/radio - something I have never done. I thought she might like to dance around while I did the chore. Usually her room is either quiet or has rain noise from her sound machine.
Well apparently the "strange voices" freaked her out because she RAN to me and practically crawled my leg, all while staring at the radio like it was going to bite her.

Re: Scared DD - I felt so bad!
I just have to laugh when that happens. L is scared of the vacuum right now. Daddy turned on his shop vac in the garage last night, and she heard it (she has superhuman hearing) and here she comes running to me!
I'm almost positive she won't tell her therapist about it:P So don't feel bad!
See - it is weird because Amelia is in love with the vacuum.... ? I think the vacuum is scarier than the radio. I laughed after the fact but I felt really bad at first because I was shocked at how scared she was.
awww, poor thing! C has had a couple scared moments the past couple of days. I'm horrible, but can't help but laugh because it's so cute & funny.
This puppet at the dr's office...she really liked, then all of the sudden was acting afraid of it. Then this morning, I put batteries in this elephant (it walks & makes noises), she just stared at it, then got a big pouty lip and crawled to me about to cry.
