XP: Big scare today...

I've been contracting a lot since Sunday.  They really can't go back up on the Magnesium any more than I am b/c of toxicity (I reacted so poorly on doses past 2 grams per hour).  This morning the nurse told me I might have the babies today.  Doctor checked me and I am still only fingertip dialated so we can hold off but those contractions need to stop (I'm already on a lot of Mag, Terb, and procardia).  So if you are the praying type please say one for my little cupcakes.  It is still way too early for them.

    I just started browsing the nest again as I'm TTC#2 and I've seen a couple of your posts.  Saying big prayers for you that those little ones stay in longer. Stay strong and positive thoughts are with you!!!

    I'm saying a prayer for you and the babies.  I know you must be so scared, but try to think positive.  I'm sure the babies will be okay even if they come today.  (((HUGS)))

    OH MY FRAN!!!!!  I am the praying type and said one prayer for you already!!!!   I will be thinking about you constantly and I know tha you will probably not be able to update, but please do so whenever you can.  I am sure the whole board will be nervous and by your side in thought until we hear back from you!!!!

    We had 2 years of IF trying to conceive #2 and one loss during that time. We are currently trying for #3! had another loss the end of June

    Oh no I am so sorry your having  a scare!  Just keep drinking and try to relax to keep your mind off the contractions.  NOT that you want to think about it, but since they've had the steroid shots, they should do great.

    Oh no!! I'm excited to see tour cupcakes, but not for another 9 weeks or so!! I hope the can stop those contractons and I will be thinking (worrying) about you all day.

    Saying prayers for the cupcakes here but also, have you been over to the preemie board at all.  Mhop, here4u, and I all post both over here and over there.  It is also an amazing community of women like this one who are very supportive and informative.  If you do have the cupcakes before 37 weeks, please come over there for support.  Mhop has a 29 weeker, here4u a 27 weeker and I have a 36 weeker who had rds.  We are all pulling for your LOs to stay put but you seem to be getting great care and I know that they will do what is best for you and your sweet babies.  Please keep us updated!

    Just b/c I know some of you have been wondering what is up since the morning.  At this point the contractions have calmed but not stopped.  DH and I are waiting to speak with the doctor tomorrow.  We need more information tomorrow on everything.  I feel like everyone is sugar coating things or making things more horrible than they are but no one is being fully truthful.  I will let you all know as soon as we know.

    I lurk that board since my neice was a 26 weeker and I held her mom's hand the whole way (infact I was the one that forced her to go to the hospital b/c I knew something was wrong). I hope you don't end up there, but they seem like a great bunch!
