I told most people that we were pregnant during weeks 8-12. I give violin lessons every week and for some reason didn't tell some of my students and their parents until this week. I think that after our miscarriage in March, I wanted to make sure that everything was ok until after the BIG u/s. I felt funny telling them I am due in 4 months when they didn't even know I was pregnant last week--lol!
Who else hasn't told people that they see regularly??
Re: Anyone else finally tell people at 20 weeks?
I told my coworkers in my department a while back. But I haven't told anyone in any other department, and I see a lot of people daily. I probably won't say anything until someone outright asks me. It's not a conscious decision, I just don't feel the need to make a big announcement in the office.
I'm also trying to stave off unsolicited advice from the finance ladies as long as possible.

I need to tell the parents I work for. I have been wearing big shirts and flowy babydoll type shirts but I'm popped as you can see below and I figure I should tell them before they ask. I'm worried though... dont know why. I know the kids love me and the parents are happy with me, but I've wokred for people in the past who have made it impossible for me to ever feel secure in a job... ugh.
Good luck! I'm sure they'll be so happy for you!
We told family and a few close friends at 13 weeks. I told the rest of our friends last week at 16 weeks. I haven't told anyone at work yet except my boss. I am hoping to make it until 20 weeks. So far I am not really showing.
A lot on this board don't understand waiting so long to tell. But for me, I don't enjoy the attention so I am putting it off as long as possible.
I work at a school. A lot of my coworkers know, but some won't find out for a couple weeks when school starts again.
This is me - a lot of my coworkers know, but only about 1/4 of the school staff were here during summer school when I really started to show. So I think most of the staff will be able to guess by looking at me when they come back at the end of this month.
