Success after IF

do you own a nursing "wrap"?

You know, one of those wraps made for breastfeeding in public? Do you use it?

Re: do you own a nursing "wrap"?

  • I have a bebe au lait cover. ?i use to use it more in the?beginning whenever anyone was at my house or I went out and had to nurse. My dd is not a big fan of being covered up when she nurses so I really only use it if I have too. ?I have gotten good at nursing?discreetly?and quickly without it but if I am somewhere like a?restaurant?and have to nurse I will use it. ?I think if you plan on BF then it is good to have one.

  • I had one and never used it while nursing Fen, honestly I figured out ways to nurse in public without baring it all.

  • Yes and while I used it when he was little 0-2or3 months I haven't used it since.
  • Yep. They are great for when the baby is little and you are both figuring things out...but I rarely use it now.

  • I also have the bebe au lait cover and I love it.  I do use it when I am out.  At first, I would go to a discreet place and still use the cover.  Now, I am still discreet, but since I am more comfortable with the cover (and BFing in general), I use it even more.  If you plan to BF, I highly recommend it.
  • Had 2 and used them ALL THE TIME.

We have a now 14 year old step-son.  I covered up a lot - even at home.

I got mine cheap off ebay.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • Also have the Bebe au lait cover and loved it.  Used it all the time when people were over, if we were in public, or at the in laws.  It scoops out, so its never bothered him being 'covered', he never got too hot and helped me to be comfortable nursing in public.  I could never be very discreet with out it.  I highly recommend it!  Much better than using a blanket.

So excited for you--Baby Henry will be here SOON!!  YAY!!

  • I have a Balboa Baby one and I LOVE it. I use it all.the.time. I was nursing DS in Borders today and he let out a HUGE, LOUD poo and a lady reading in a chair in a corner opposite me starting laughing.  I had to pull out his little feet from under the cover to prove that it wasn't me!  It hides them a little too well.  :)
