anyone order carseat from walmart.com????? question.

i ordered the graco myride 65, and it was delivered the next day, when it wasn't supposed to be arriving for another five days at the earliest. the box was ripped open, and there was no packaging around it at all. it almost seemed like it was a display model from our local store or something. when i try to track the package it's like there is nothing other than shipment and delivery- nothing in between. would this make you uncomfortable- or is this how yours was delivered via walmart.com?

    I had mine sent to the store so I wouldn't pay delivery and also because we live in a condo and having packages that size left for us when we're not home is next to impossible.

    I know you ordered it from online to make it convenient, but do they sell that brand in the store for you to exchange it? Wal mart is always flexible on returns and exchanges. But my box was not like that at all when we picked it up. And while I'm sure it is fine, I would be nervous if it was a display model or used to some extent since a car seat is such a big safety item.

    We ordered the same one from Walmart.com and the box was in horrible shape, but the seat was in all it's original packaging and looked great. I'd probably take it to the store as it is right now and exchange it for one that is not questionable.

    I ordered this exact carseat from Walmart.com (actually 2 of the same, one for each car), they came super quickly like you said.  As far as packaging, it was boxed but there was no extra packaging (i.e. styrofoam, bubble wrap etc.)  I thought this was normal.  Our infant carrier seat came packaged the same way at that was a different manufacturer.

    I haven't ordered from walmart.com but that would make me nervous.  I would return it to your local store and ask for an exchange.
