My mind is racing, and I can't stop wondering what the hell is going on with my period. I was so sure that I was back to normal now and that we'd just keep trying til the end of the year, but now I am having doubts. I didn't want to resort to drugs, but I am starting to think I may need the help. Why can't my body just do what it's supposed to?
Re: Freaking out...
My body never works when its suppose to. i went without periods for months. I had to go on birth control to regulate it.
Sometimes I think we do need a little help from drugs to jumpstart our bodies.
Why dont you want to use drugs?

I'm sorry abc. Drugs are a big step especially if you do not like taking otc medication. I wish you all the luck in the world when you go back to the doctor. Maybe you could explain to her your fear (for lack of better term)/reluctance when it comes to taking them?
Again. Good luck and keep us posted.
It sounds like you are conflicted about what to do in an extremely frustrating situation. I wish you the best.
yeah you sound like the biggest ignorant newb right now. But since you're a "regular" everyone keeps playing nice. If you don't chart you don't know when you are late. Oh wait, your speshul and your periods are ALWAYS predictable...
Hmm......and you don't like ABC either. Wow, the lamest mystery ever on GP continues....
Sorry your going through this ABC. I totally feel you on the drug thing. I don't take anything either. With 25 cycles (all natural or homeopathic and 1 drug free IUI) I have finally made an appt with RE to discuss Clomid. I really don't want to but considering my age I don't want to think "what if" in the future. I wish you the best of luck......naturally!
Sorry, kind of jumping in on this a little late. ABC, I'm assuming the DR put you on Met due to PCOS or insulin resistance. Since you're not really wanting to do the Met, have you thought about trying a low-carb diet instead. Southbeach is one that I find relatively easy to follow. They also have diets like nutrisystem that follow the glycemic index that might help.
GL, I hope you can figure out a plan you're comfortable with.
LO#1 - 19 cycles, 3 IUIs, 1 m/c, gonal-f, ganirelix, ovidrel, progesterone
Totally worth the wait!

1.Charting doesn't solve everything and isn't for everyone.
2. ABC, I'm so sorry you're going through all this, and are "freaking out" today. I have to agree w/Mrs.Bro. Maybe just be really honest with the doc, so you don't have to start from scratch.
Also, I can't remember if you've talked about this before, but how would you feel about alternative therapies that don't require the use of traditional medicines? Is this something that you would be willing to pay out of pocket for?
I really wish you all the best.
