new parent support group?

I had a baby two weeks ago. I am looking for a support group for new parents in new york city. I love my baby but I am in shell shock of being a breast feeding machne and the pain that goes with it. Thanks

    I don't know of any groups except for la leche league, but I'll pm you with my email address & you can always email me.

    I was the same way!  Where do you live?  I went to the Y on 14th street and 1st Avenue weekly New Parents group.  $15 a session and was very helpful plus they have classes like baby massage and mommy & me excercise for the same price. 

     Real birth also has new parent support groups and they have a couple of locations.  https://www.realbirth.com/

    A lot of neighborhoods have mother groups you can join for playgroups, activites, etc.  I live downtown, and there's the Hudson River Mama's group for downtown moms which is great.  I know the uws has one, but I can't remember the name.  I'd do an internet search and I'm sure something will pop up.  Or you can pm me and maybe we can start a NYC Bumpies group for new mothers :)

    Big City Moms has weekly new mothers support groups/lunches every week on the UWS. ?The JCC on the UWS also has a weekly drop-in support group.
