DD#1 is such an early bird. I was pleased today w/ 6:45. Last summer when I was in my 3rd trimester w/ #2 and exhausted she decided to change things up and go for the 5:00-5:30am daily wake-up. We tried everything in the book to no avail. It was utterly awful.
Luc is generally up between 6-630 during the week and might sleep until 7a on the weekend... I would probably not be able to sleep unitl 830a at this point.
But, I've learned with Ian who is a super early riser that once they are in school it makes it so much easier. I have never once had to wake Ian up for school or rush him to get ready in the mornings. Anytime he's been late it's been my fault, not his.
Re: Who else's 2.5-3+ year old is an early riser?
Ian now sleeps until anywhere between 7:30 and 8.
To me, that is sleeping in big time, he used to get up at 5:30 and I wanted to die.

I agree! 7:30 is sleeping in here too.
