Last year DD would not wear her Little Red Riding Hood cape for anything (BTW, It's free for the taking if anyone wants one!) I would like to dress her in something comfortable this year where she won't know she's wearing a costume KWIM? The only thing I can think of is Cheerleader, and I've been dying for an excuse to get her a mini UT one anyway. Any other ideas?
Re: Ideas for a costume that isn't a costume?
Would she wear something like this? We bought this for dd for her 2nd birthday party (luau theme) and she loves to wear it! We found it at WalMart for $7!
What about a ballerina? That is my goal for DD this Halloween
Off the top of my head:
Lumberjack--jeans, plaid button-up shirt (probably have to be a boy's shirt), little boots, knit cap
Witch--dress her in all black (dress, shirt and skirt or pants) and hope she will wear a little hat.
Angel--dress her in a white dress and use sparkly powder on her face. Perhaps she would be willing to wear small wings
Princess--dress her in the frilliest dress she is willing to wear and then put on a little tiara (from Walmart or a craft store in the wedding section--they have them there for flowergirls)
I think I like the Angel Idea
I think she'd look cute with sparkly on her face. Perhaps I'll buy wings and just see if I can get her to wear them and then get the rest of the costume if she will.
I'm saving the Witch for when she gets older
If she hates the wings, I love the idea of little scrubs!
