I am looking for a bakery for LO's 1st birthday cake. I do not want your traditional grocery store cake. It would help if its located in the NE/NW valley or North Scottsdale area.

    Hi... I'm new to this board, but just thought I'd help out. :)

    I LOOOOOVE Baker Wee. They did my Bridal Shower cake and Wedding cake and both were amazing!!! They're located at 43rd Ave(?) and Thunderbird. ?Their website is www.baker-wee.com. ?

    I also love A Piece of Cake, but last I checked they were only doing wedding cakes and are pretty pricey. ?

    Try Barb's Bakery (central Phoenix) or Bamboo Bakery (central/NW Phoenix).  Bamboo did my wedding cake and it was the best cake I ever ate.  People came to my house afterward and they ate all the leftover cake in about 5 seconds.  So tasty.  I've also had Barb's Bakery a few times and they are good too.
