My mom gave one to Teagan for Christmas when she was almost a year old and she loved it. It makes all sorts of noise and she can discover what does what, etc. I would play with her but she would also play on her own.
I just bought one for DS. He loves it and plays with it on his own all of the time. I sometimes play with him but do not have to. He is fascinated with opening and closing the door!
Yeah we have one and I love it but Gabby makes me play with her with it I am trying to find ways for her to learn how to entertain herself. When I walk away she follows me all around the house lol
I bit the bullet and bought it from TRU a few weeks ago because DS needed some new entertainment. They let me use a couple coupons so I justified it. He LOVES it. It's the first thing that he actually does not mind playing by himself. But he does love opening the door for us and wants us to look at his smiling face - which I don't mind a bit!
We don't have one but one of our friends in playgroup does. All 6 of the kids were clammoring to play with it, ages 6-14mo. She had it across a corner so it made a little fort with the door closed. I'm thinking of getting one for DD.

This thing gets such good reviews. I am going to see if I can get it off Craigslist used, or maybe someone will buy it for her for her first birthday or Christmas.

DD is getting one for her 1st birthday. Either my parents or us are getting it for her. I can't wait. I wish they would decide if they are getting it because if we have too she will get it early!
