  Some drs don't check at all unless there is a problem.

  Mine started at 36 weeks and every week thereafter.

  Depends on your dr. I go in tomorrow and have yet to be checked (I'm due Saturday). I'm not leaving tomorrow w/o being checked!

  My doc just did it Monday at 39 weeks.

  Depends on the doc and your pregnancy. I got checked for this first time yesterday and I was 40 weeks. My doc said no need unless there seems to be a problem.

  Ask yours at your next appt. They are all different. Mine gave me the option at 38 and 39 weeks, but really doesn't care to check unless you've had signs of impending labor.
