Ladies who've been experiencing braxton hicks...

I know they can be caused by dehydration and a full bladder, but have any of you noticed them occurring more if you're sitting or laying in a certain position? I feel like if I'm slouching on the couch I seem to get more...but I wonder if I'm not just making that up...

  • If Im laying in bed propped up a little but laying on my back I get them. Pretty much as soon as I lay down into this position I tighten up.

  • Usually mine slow down if I'm laying down.  Sometimes if I'm laying on my back I get them too though.
  • I get them when I stand up after sitting for a while.

  • I tend to get them laying on my back leaning against pillows the most. I also get them when sitting or if I change positions too quickly.

  • I get them in any position. If I'm still more than 5 min, I feel it when I shift.

  • I get them if I am sitting more, if I lay down they tend to go away.

     

     

  • I get lots more sitting and standing and if my back hurts. Last night I had to drink some water and lay down to time them(like the midwife told me). They went away quickly, at least I'm getting A LOT of practice!!!

  • I get them when I sit, stand, roll over, walk, have to pee, have to poop, have had water, haven't had water, when I'm awake, when I'm asleep, it makes no difference whatsoever for me, I have them all the f'n time. 

    Sorry to sound so bitter, and I know that wasn't the least bit helpful to you, but these things are entirely uncomfortable now that they occur so often.

    I hope yours truly do only occur more often if you are slouching on the couch.
