Cold sore?

How do I treat this while pregnant? I think I have one coming up on my lip and I dont know what is safe. I will call the dr in the morning, but anyone had one while pg and what did you use to help it go away? Thanks!

    I am not sure about over the counter medicines but I have a prescription for both Denavir and Valtrex (which I only use for cold sores, not genital herpes!) that my doc said is fine to use while pg. ?Unfortunately, I used to get cold sores a lot.

    I get them all the time and I've always used the natural remedy Lysine. I asked my OB about it and she said it was safe. Ask your OB what they think. Good luck, I hate cold sores!

    My OB told me valtrex and abreva were safe to use!!
