I am not a fan of nn, especially those that shorten a given name. NN that are derived such a pumkin, bubs, or other such names are fine. However, I am guessing I will be in the minority on this one.
Scar! No, I don't think it needs a nickname...pretty name though, leave it be
Hm, I'd have to ditto this - I can't think of any NNs for Scarlett. The only thing that comes to mind is shortening it, but Scar isn't an option in my opinion. lol
I think it's a cute name and agree it doesn't need a nickname, but unfortunatley with our lazy world ppl will try to shorten any name you pick. Just have to be prepared for that and ready to tell them not don't call my kid that.
My name is only 2 syllables as well and has been shorten on occasion and I hate the shortened name.

I don't think it needs a nickname either.... Although if you're like me, I tend to call many people by shortened/nicknames. I would probably end up calling her Scar, or Lett, Lettie... etc.

IMO I don't think Scarlett needs a nn. It's a nice name just the way it is.
