Big U/S today

I'm back and I know nothing. The baby was curled up in a little ball and would not move. Something didn't seem right though, the tech kept asking me all kinds of questions and told me I would have to come back in a week or 2. She told me that she has me measuring 16w 4d, my Dr. says I should be 18w 1d and my last u/s says I should be at 19w 1d so that doesn't look very good. I asked her 3 times if she could see the heartbeat, the fist time she ignored me, the 2nd time she was like oh what was that and then the 3rd time she told me she got what she needed and my Dr. would call me. Then she asked if I was going home after the u/s, I told her I was going back to work but I was thinking, why should I go home?

IDK it just doesn't sound good. I'll update again when I hear from my Dr.

I really hope everything is okay! I hate that the U/S techs cant tell you anything!! I will keep you in my thoughts!!

Update: Talked to the Dr.

The baby is not alive. The high risk Dr. from my Dr's office called he said that it looks like the baby died at 16w 4d and that when this happens this late in a preg it is prob because there was something genetically wrong with the baby, so it was prob a blessing in disguise. He said that it is not safe to do a DNC so I would have to M/C on my own. I have an appt with my Dr. on Tuesday, hopefully I will find out more then.
