I'm proud of myself today!

DH is home sick, my company had no power, so we both stayed home today. I took DS to buy a scooter, since he's talked about NOTHING else since he spent the night at my sister's last week.

We got back and DH was asleep.  I am a smart girl, but putting things together, not my forte.  At all.  But DS was so excited. So, I got some tools out and put that bad boy together, all by myself!

It took me longer than it would have DH, but I was proud that I tackled that!  You girls are probably laughing at me, but seriously, tools and directions, and tiny washers, nuts and bolts = me sweating.

    I'm laughing with you, not at you.  You need to check out my carseat freak out post.  I also put together a little tykes slide for M for xmas.  dh knew it would be a death trap and checked everything out.  it was fine and she's still alive.

    Thanks!  I realize after I read it back that I sound stupid and ditzy. But seriously, I'd almost rather poke myself in the eye that fight with little nuts, bolts, and tools.  I am going to have DH look it over, one of the wheels seems like it could be tighter.

    And the fact that I found the tools, well, that's even a bigger achievement! LOL
